Work Environment\n

This full-time position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide therapy in a comfortable setting while contributing to our mission of making recovery accessible to all. Our dedicated team collaborates in a supportive virtual space, ensuring that communication remains fluid and that resources are readily available to help you deliver exceptional care. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and recovery goals of each patient seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Create personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, utilizing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that encourage personal insights and foster lasting behavioral change.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive community where patients share experiences and coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists, to deliver integrated and coordinated care.

• Respond effectively to crises, providing immediate support during substance-related emergencies and helping to stabilize patients.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction recovery strategies, community resources, and coping mechanisms to ensure comprehensive understanding and support.

• Maintain stringent compliance with legal and ethical standards by keeping accurate and confidential records of patient interactions.

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.

• Continuously expand your knowledge of advancements in substance use disorder treatment and best practices in mental healthcare.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults who are navigating their recovery from substance use disorders. These clients come from diverse backgrounds and may face various challenges, including dual diagnoses and complex psychosocial factors. Your role is critical in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to understand their addiction, explore recovery pathways, and develop essential life skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing quality individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage empathetically with patients from varied backgrounds and circumstances.

• Proficiency in maintaining boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality in all patient interactions.

• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• A proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of clinical experience working directly with individuals experiencing substance use challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and skills. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates.
