This position allows for a collaborative work setting where mental health professionals can exchange ideas and support one another while working from the comfort of their own homes. While the primary work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, some evening shifts may be required to accommodate patient needs, ensuring we are available when our clients need our support the most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's psychological and emotional needs related to their substance use history.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Provide individual counseling sessions utilizing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to encourage personal growth and recovery.

• Lead group therapy sessions that foster a supportive community atmosphere for clients to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and motivate one another in their recovery journeys.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care and ensure optimized patient outcomes.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies to safeguard patient welfare.

• Educate clients and their families on understanding addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, many of whom may also face co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
