Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position that allows for flexibility while providing critical support to our patient population. Our team operates primarily Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our patients. While working from home, you will have access to necessary technology and resources, allowing you to connect with patients and fellow team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the specific needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking assistance with substance use disorders.

• Create personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, tailoring approaches to meet varied patient needs.

• Provide individual counseling utilizing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to foster motivation and enhance coping strategies.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions that enable individuals to share experiences, develop support networks, and gain insight into their recovery processes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and a variety of other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care that addresses all aspects of patients’ addiction and mental health challenges.

• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families on topics such as addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources that can provide additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and privacy at all times.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices and advancements in the field.

• Continuously update your knowledge of current research and treatment methodologies in substance use disorder care to elevate service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals grappling with substance use disorders, including both adults and adolescents seeking support for alcohol, opioid, and other substance dependencies. We emphasize a client-centered approach, recognizing the unique journey of each person on the road to recovery, and aim to equip them with the knowledge and tools necessary for lasting change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment models, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate empathetically and effectively with diverse populations.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is a relevant master's or doctoral degree, candidates with additional certifications in substance use treatment methodologies or those who have contributed to research in this field will be viewed favorably. Prior experience working in remote settings or community health clinics is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance.
