Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative. You'll join a team of experienced professionals, including two additional physical therapists, in a supportive atmosphere committed to delivering optimal patient care. As this is a home care setting, you will travel to patients' residences, allowing for a flexible work schedule, while ensuring their comfort and convenience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and establish individualized care plans.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, dedicating 40 minutes to each patient to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create tailored rehabilitation strategies aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to promote patient recovery, reducing reliance on medication and invasive procedures.
• Design fitness programs that enhance strength, balance, and flexibility for a holistic approach to fitness and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy; encourage them to adopt healthier lifestyles.
• Regularly consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Evaluate and communicate progress effectively, adjusting care plans as needed to reflect each patient's unique journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including athletes seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries and individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Many patients will require therapy focused on improving strength, balance, and recovery from various conditions. Your role is vital in supporting them on their path to achieving their health goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MS or DPT degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an outpatient setting is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of treatment practices and a commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
• Adept interpersonal communication skills, allowing you to manage patients with varying personalities effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing personalized rehabilitation plans and fitness initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to document care and maintain accurate patient records efficiently.
• Proven track record of motivating patients and improving their rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
