Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for patients referred by physicians.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional outcomes for patients of all ages and conditions.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with a broader healthcare team to coordinate multidisciplinary care and achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities according to physician directives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your practice will encompass a diverse range of patient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, sports-related injuries, and neurological conditions. Your expertise will be essential in guiding each patient through the various stages of rehabilitation, from initial evaluation to full recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited college.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant medical software.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in specialized therapeutic areas such as sports medicine or geriatrics is a plus. A demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and maintain relationships within the community will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
