Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our outpatient office in Richmond, Virginia, where a bright and welcoming atmosphere enhances patient comfort and treatment effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish individualized care plans through thorough evaluations and engagement with each patient's health background.
• Conduct regular treatment sessions, providing one-on-one physical therapy to manage a caseload of patients effectively—approximately one patient per hour.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise protocols, to improve patient mobility and functionality.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately within our WebPT EMR software for comprehensive patient care management.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans and encourage lifestyle modifications to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Emphasize patient education and collaborative effort in setting and achieving rehabilitation goals.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. The patient demographic ranges from young athletes to active seniors, each receiving tailored treatment aimed at restoring optimal function and aiding them in returning to their normal activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure the highest standard of care.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
