Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs while providing one-on-one treatment sessions, managing an average caseload of one patient every hour.
• Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques aimed at restoring mobility and improving quality of life.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to alleviate pain and expedite recovery for patients with orthopedic conditions.
• Motivate patients to engage actively in their treatment programs, encouraging adherence to prescribed exercises and therapy goals.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress, interventions, and outcomes, contributing to seamless communication within the healthcare team.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed to reflect patient improvements and changing needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the licensing board.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in designing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and manage patient data efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, focusing on rehabilitation practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative therapy team.
• Experience in treating diverse patient populations, including athletes and post-surgical patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
