Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in a scenic area of Richmond, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical dysfunction and mobility limitations.
• Create individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and best practices.
• Implement personalized treatment protocols including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and education designed to accelerate recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address any complications or concerns.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment processes, expected outcomes, and self-management strategies.
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with facility standards and local regulations, ensuring the integrity of patient records.
• Participate in continuing education and training sessions to maintain licensure and stay updated on advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will make a significant difference in the lives of patients of all ages, helping them regain physical function and return to daily activities and recreational pursuits. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While the required experience is two years, candidates with advanced training or certifications in specialty areas of therapy (e.g., Sports Physical Therapy, Manual Therapy Certification) will be viewed favorably. Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is also an advantage for streamlining patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits
