Mind and Body Connect Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team full-time. This role allows for flexible working conditions while you provide essential mental health services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage an active caseload of clients by developing trustful relationships and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries to support effective therapy.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, monitor stability, schedule future appointments, and plan for appropriate discharge when goals are met.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored, person-centered treatment programs in collaboration with clients to address their specific mental health needs.
\n
• Document all client interactions thoroughly, including progress notes, treatment plans, and intake evaluations to ensure continuity and quality of care.
\n
• Conduct intake evaluations to determine clients’ needs and establish effective treatment options.
\n
• Provide a predetermined number of individual therapy sessions each week, maintaining consistency in client care.
\n
• Engage in one-on-one supervision sessions for professional development and support in clinical practices.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create interconnected care plans that benefit clients holistically.
\n
• Embrace a growth mindset by actively seeking out opportunities for professional development and improvement in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. Our holistic approach emphasizes personalized care and recovery, ensuring that each client receives the most appropriate and effective interventions in their journey toward mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• A valid, unrestricted, independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential is mandatory for practice.
\n
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting is essential.
\n
• Proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with spreadsheet software, RMS systems, email platforms, and mental health practice management systems such as PIMSY.
\n
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is highly desirable.
\n
• Ability to conduct intake assessments to evaluate client's mental health and treatment needs comfortably.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing group therapy and leading workshops is a plus.
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

• Previous experience in a multicultural setting or working with diverse populations can enhance effectiveness in this role.
