Key Responsibilities\n

As a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions in clients' homes or at our outpatient office to foster emotional well-being and resilience.

• Implementing therapeutic techniques to teach coping skills, anger management, and social skills, helping to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.

• Assisting families and youth in developing decision-making skills to effectively manage behavioral challenges within the home environment.

• Collaborating consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to enhance the support network available to youth and their families.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Participating in monthly team meetings to review case progress and make informed recommendations for treatment enhancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves children ages 3-20 who have developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. You will work directly with these children and their families, addressing complex emotional and behavioral issues in a nurturing and supportive manner. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Hold an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• Be available for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, primarily during after-school hours from 4-7 pm, with additional weekend availability considered a plus.

• Demonstrate proficiency in providing positive behavior support and interventions.
\n
• Have a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to clients' homes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
