Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video conferencing, focusing on improving their overall mental well-being.

• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining their goals and path to recovery.

• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and develop customized, solution-focused treatment plans based on your clinical expertise and experience.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and treatment progress as required while adhering to privacy regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will generally be individuals seeking low-acuity mental health support. All clients are prescreened, which means you can focus on providing effective interventions without the need for crisis management common in high-acuity cases. This supportive environment allows for building therapeutic alliances that can make a significant difference in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.

• An independent state-issued license such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory; limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.

• Competence in making professional assessments, decisions, and recommendations for individualized treatment planning.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a sympathetic and understanding nature are crucial for fostering successful client relationships.

• Strong computer literacy to effectively utilize digital tools and resources for therapy and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Professional experience in counseling or a related mental health field is preferred; familiarity with diverse populations and various therapeutic modalities will be beneficial.
