Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Full-Time)

The North Oasis Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gather information on clients’ psychological, emotional, and social functioning, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and align with each client's goals and needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions through individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring they receive timely support and care.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, including documenting treatment progress and changes.
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment pathways, and relevant community resources to enhance their understanding and support systems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of current best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups. Our patients often present with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. Your understanding of different cultural backgrounds and life experiences will be crucial in tailoring effective treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential to developing effective treatment plans.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical practice in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience utilizing teletherapy platforms is advantageous, especially given the remote nature of this role.
• Experience working with a diverse demographic, including various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with experience. We also offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
