Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rocky Meadow Counseling, you will:

• Manage a caseload of youth clients, establishing rapport and trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to evaluate client progress, discuss challenges, and, when appropriate, facilitate discharge planning.

• Create and monitor person-centered treatment plans that cater specifically to the individual needs and goals of each client.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine the needs and concerns of new clients.

• Lead weekly individual therapy sessions, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet each client's unique circumstances.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and discuss case management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is to provide mental health counseling to youth and adolescents, including those facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. The clinician will work within a diverse community, ensuring that cultural considerations and individual backgrounds are integrated into treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
