The position is remote, allowing you to work flexibly from the comfort of your home while still being a vital part of a supportive team. While the primary work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate our patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to identify the specific needs and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Create and implement customized treatment plans that consider developmental stages and individual family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at educating and empowering parents and caregivers to foster supportive environments.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, promoting the best outcomes for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available.

• Engage in patient and family education, discussing mental health conditions, available treatment options, and referring them to community resources as needed.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records that comply with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continue professional development through ongoing training.

• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and advancements within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is primarily focused on providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents, addressing mental health concerns that may include anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Acting as a crucial part of their support system, you will help guide young individuals and their families through challenging times, promoting resilience and healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and various therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy, particularly to young clients.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• The ability to build rapport and establish trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

• A collaborative mindset to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of experience working in a child and adolescent mental health setting, with a background in evidence-based treatment modalities specific to this demographic. Advanced skills in family therapy and crisis intervention are also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
