Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to create a solid understanding of their needs.

• Deliver individualized and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches informed by the patient's unique circumstances.
\n
• Manage documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with timely submission standards.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety strategies, relapse prevention plans, and wellness initiatives that support clients in achieving stable functioning.

• Create discharge plans that highlight client accomplishments and ongoing support systems.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to maintain the highest standards of care.

• Maintain and enhance professional competence through ongoing training and continuing education in mental health practices.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultation and internal meetings, contributing to the collaborative culture of our agency.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training to remain compliant with the standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The population we serve is multifaceted, with an emphasis on cultural competence to ensure that all clients feel understood and valued throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, which results in eligibility for licensing.

• Licensure: You must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in the State of Washington.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth counseling and a deep understanding of virtual therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated success in working with a diverse patient population and using a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Previous experience in community mental health settings is a plus.
