This remote position allows for flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring that you remain connected to students and families in the Memphis area. You will work closely with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, to develop and deliver services tailored specifically for the school environment. This unique remote setting will enable you to utilize a variety of tools and platforms to conduct sessions, maintain documentation, and engage in community outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students to identify their social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques.

• Offer individual and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to support students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that align with students' academic and personal goals, involving parents and teachers as necessary.
\n
• Advocate for and empower students and their families by ensuring they have access to educational resources and community support systems.
\n
• Participate in case conferences with educators and parents to evaluate student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
\n
• Engage in the development, implementation, and evaluation of school-based programs that promote mental health awareness and social skills development.
\n
• Document all interactions and interventions using digital record-keeping systems to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Lead workshops and training sessions for school staff on trauma-informed care and effective strategies for supporting students' holistic well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of students ranging from elementary to high school age, as well as their families. The support you provide will cater to students who may be experiencing a variety of challenges, including mental health issues, behavioral difficulties, and socio-economic barriers. Your ability to empathize with and empower these young individuals and their families will be pivotal in fostering improved educational outcomes and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee.

• Demonstrated understanding of social justice, advocacy, and community resources.

• Exceptional skills in communication, empathy, and organization, fostering strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
