Work Environment

In this remote role, you will work from home, leveraging technology to connect with clients across Texas. Supported by a strong administrative team and cutting-edge telehealth platforms, you will conduct sessions in a secure and confidential environment. Regular business hours will be observed, specifically Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring a structured work routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, using established frameworks to gather information and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to provide effective support to clients.
• Maintain and document accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other counselors—to optimize patient care.
• Engage in routine case consultations and peer review discussions aimed at enhancing therapeutic techniques and improving patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate mental health challenges and equipping them with resources.
• Stay current with mental health research, integrating the latest findings into practice to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other prevalent mental health disorders. By employing a patient-focused approach, you will help clients work through their challenges and develop effective coping strategies within the safety of a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting a trusting and therapeutic relationship with all clients.
• Adept problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, enabling you to address complex situations effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
