Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify their needs through interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute personalized treatment plans that align with their specific mental health goals.
• Provide individual therapy to adult clients, employing evidence-based methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Leverage technology to facilitate teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients across various locations.
• Respond to clients' needs by providing crisis intervention services when necessary, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with best practices in mental health therapy, thereby enhancing the quality of care delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include adults from varied backgrounds seeking support for a range of mental health challenges. Many clients experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a safe environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences, express their emotions, and actively participate in their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in New Jersey.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Exhibit compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients from all walks of life.
• Showcase strong organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple clients and treatment plans.
• No history of disciplinary actions on professional licensure board.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical outpatient setting, preferably providing individual therapy to adults.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery methods.
• Experience utilizing treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness in practice.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
