MedSphere Counseling Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories, strengths, and treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in delivering high-quality mental health services.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and encourage healing.
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment outcomes for each patient.
• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention to clients experiencing acute trauma-related distress.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, aiming to empower clients through knowledge and resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and team meetings to promote a thorough, collaborative approach to patient care.
• Engage in professional development initiatives, staying informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State is required.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, including effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
