Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess patients' histories and identify specific treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's journey toward recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and coping.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, build coping strategies, and promote their healing journey.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective assistance.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, as well as available resources for further support.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient data management.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance the quality of care and share insights on trauma-informed practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy and mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents affected by trauma and mental health disorders. You will be responsible for helping these individuals navigate the complexities of their trauma experiences and equipping them with the tools necessary for recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care and therapy.
• Deep knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated success in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions in a therapeutic or clinical context.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered, compassionate approach.

Compensation and Benefits

Greenleaf Health Partners offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
