Work Environment

This position is conducted remotely, utilizing our telehealth platform to connect with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, collecting relevant history and collaboratively developing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate the development of therapeutic goals with clients, regularly reviewing and adapting these goals to align with their progress and evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines as well as state and federal regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through webinars, workshops, and peer consultation, enhancing your clinical skills and staying current with the latest practices in mental health.
• Support the initiation and maintenance of quality and continuous improvement measures within our telehealth services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals of various ages and backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients who may prefer virtual therapy due to schedules, mobility limitations, or other accessibility concerns, ensuring that quality care reaches those who need it most.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license to practice counseling, including any of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Exhibiting empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ varied experiences and challenges.
• Able to effectively organize and manage your caseload alongside administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy services, with familiarity in utilizing technology for virtual engagement and treatment facilitation.
• Previous work setting in a private practice or outpatient mental health clinic.
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.

• Attractive salary range from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, adjusted based on clinical experience and caseload management.
