Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing therapists flexible work arrangements while being part of a collaborative team. While you will primarily engage with patients from your home office environment, our outpatient office in Arvada serves as a central hub for team meetings and collaborative care discussions. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate your patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and formulate suitable treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma experiences, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering a healing environment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated care that prioritizes each patient's unique needs.

• Provide crisis intervention to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and appropriate follow-up care.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to continually enhance your trauma-informed skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other life-altering events. Your work will be crucial in helping patients overcome the debilitating effects of their experiences, with a focus on fostering resilience and emotional recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Competence in therapeutic interventions specifically aimed at trauma recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while delivering client-centered care.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
