Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will work onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center in Spring Valley, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical history evaluations and comprehensive physical examinations to understand each patient's condition.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aimed at effective pain relief.
• Participate in the administration of pain management procedures, such as joint injections and trigger point therapies, while adhering to best practices and clinic protocols.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as indicated to optimize patient care while monitoring compliance and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions and workshops to stay current with advancements in pain management methodologies.
• Regularly follow up with patients to assess treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to enhance their outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain, and various neurological disorders. Your role is crucial in providing empathetic, patient-centered care that recognizes the complexity of chronic pain and its impact on patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York state.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies, with a focus on areas related to pain management preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in medical documentation and the use of electronic health records.
• Exhibit an ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team as well as independently with confidence.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pain management or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of various pain management techniques and treatments, with relevant certifications being a plus.
• Effective communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach that prioritizes the well-being of patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
