Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments of patients with various pain conditions, utilizing established protocols and best practices.
• Order relevant imaging studies and laboratory tests to aid in accurate diagnosis.
• Prescribe appropriate non-narcotic medications and physical therapy options tailored to individual patient needs.
• Schedule and assist in interventional procedures, ensuring patients are adequately prepared for treatment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Actively engage with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant in this role will primarily focus on patients with various pain issues, including chronic pain, post-operative pain, and pain related to injuries and conditions such as arthritis or fibromyalgia. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related discipline is required.

Compensation and Benefits
