This role is performed remotely, offering flexibility and convenience while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. Though working from various locations, our team remains close-knit, ensuring that collaboration and communication are central to our operations. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports both our clients and our team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your clinical expertise to perform comprehensive assessments, meticulously evaluating clients’ mental health and substance use issues to identify co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based therapies and interventions to address the unique challenges posed by their conditions.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients develop essential coping skills, effective relapse prevention strategies, and techniques for emotional regulation.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure that every facet of a client’s treatment is fully integrated and responsive to their needs.

• Administer ongoing substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing strategies to nurture clients’ commitment to their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families about the intricate relationships between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of compliance with treatment protocols.

• Document clients’ treatment progress, interventions, and referrals accurately and in timely fashion, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure the highest level of accountability.

• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities to continually enhance your skills in treating co-occurring disorders, thereby contributing to the overall professional growth of the team.

Your primary focus will be individuals suffering from co-occurring disorders, which present unique challenges and requires a compassionate and innovative approach to treatment. You will cater to a diverse clientele, helping them navigate their recovery journey by addressing complex psychological and behavioral issues concurrently.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specifically designed for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A robust understanding of the interplay between mental health issues and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your dedication and expertise, the role offers an annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000.
