Work Environment

As an onsite position in our orthopedic rehabilitation facility, the Physical Therapist will work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic setting. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet engaging workday. With a typical patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour, our therapists have the time to focus on the specific needs of each individual, fostering strong therapeutic relationships and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for new patients to identify their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address medical, physical, and social factors affecting the patient's recovery process.
• Implement treatment programs utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, adapting as necessary based on patient progress.
• Provide education and training to patients on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management strategies to enhance their recovery.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in case management responsibilities, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals and assisting in discharge planning.
• Uphold professional conduct in all client interactions, embodying the clinic's commitment to service excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This diverse group includes elderly individuals, athletes, workers recovering from occupational injuries, and patients needing post-operative rehabilitation. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving their mobility, pain management, and overall physical function.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate PT equipment and conduct functional evaluations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting is strongly preferred. Candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques or those with experience in outpatient rehabilitation practices will be given preferential consideration. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
