Work Environment

In this full-time position, you will primarily work onsite, providing therapy services in patients' homes. The role demands adaptability and strong communication skills to engage with patients of various ages and backgrounds. Weekly workloads consist of 40 hours, with possible variability over weekends, allowing for a flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans based on the progress of each patient, ensuring consistent improvement in their mobility and quality of life.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding each patient's continuum of care, helping to foster a comprehensive approach to recovery.
• Document all treatments, evaluation findings, and patient charge information accurately while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides, to enhance team performance and patient care outcomes.
• Participate in community outreach and continuous quality improvement initiatives to promote organizational growth and enhance service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development through workshops, in-services, and relevant continuing education programs to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required for this position.
• A valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
