Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments with adult clients to identify mental health needs and challenges.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs and goals.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the patient population.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during intense emotional distress or acute episodes.

• Monitoring client progress and adapting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and ethical client records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops, webinars, and conferences to remain current with best practices and emerging trends.

• Contributing to team initiatives through active participation in team meetings, social media outreach, and other community engagement efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater primarily to adults who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be expected to develop rapport and build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, recognizing and respecting the unique experiences that each individual brings to their therapy sessions.

Qualifications\n

To be qualified for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Hold an active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Be professionally registered with the applicable licensing body and maintain active credentials.
\n
• Possess professional liability insurance.
\n
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and discuss client progress.

• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and uphold high ethical standards in clinical practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
