Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, understanding their severity, frequency, and duration through the use of standardized diagnostic tools.

• Employ evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their conditions effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance understanding and compliance.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on client feedback and clinical assessments.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, sharing insights and strategies with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adults experiencing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, as well as other related mental health challenges. Clients come from diverse backgrounds, requiring you to be sensitive and adaptive to various cultural needs and perspectives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
