Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a remote, contract role responsible for developing and publishing engaging content across social platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and others as relevant to each client). Day-to-day tasks include researching trends, planning content calendars, scripting and producing short-form video, writing captions and post copy, and repurposing content for multiple channels. The role involves collaborating with internal team members and clients to align content with brand guidelines, campaign goals, and performance insights. The Social Media Content Creator will monitor engagement, respond to audience interactions when needed, and recommend content optimizations based on analytics. This role requires consistent communication, reliable delivery of assets, and the ability to manage multiple brand accounts simultaneously.\n
Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in social media content creation, including short-form video production, caption writing, and visual storytelling.

• Experience managing social media calendars, planning campaigns, and aligning content with brand and marketing strategies.

• Ability to research trends, audiences, and competitors to inform content ideas and creative direction.

• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic performance metrics to assess and improve content effectiveness.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistency in tone and messaging.

• Comfort working remotely as a contractor, managing deadlines, and coordinating with distributed teams and clients.

• Knowledge of ecommerce and direct-to-consumer business models is highly beneficial.

• Previous experience creating content for brands or agencies; portfolio or samples of relevant work required.

• Ability to use design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, mobile editing apps) is a plus.

• Understanding of platform-specific best practices and community guidelines across major social networks.
