Business Development Manager

Sonilo is a VC-backed AI music generation company building the next generation of soundtrack creation for video. Founded in Silicon Valley, Sonilo helps creators, brands, and platforms instantly generate original music that understands a video’s content, pacing, and exact duration, eliminating the need for manual editing, stock music searching, or beat matching. From short-form social content to cinematic storytelling, Sonilo enables anyone to turn silent videos into finished content in seconds through AI-powered music generation built for modern creators. Role Overview You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic B2B partnerships that accelerate Sonilo's growth. This includes video creation tools/platforms, filmmaking studios, enterprise brands, media companies, and ecosystem partners. This is a highly entrepreneurial role with significant ownership and direct exposure to company leadership. What You'll Do Build and manage a pipeline of strategic partners and enterprise customers. Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing. Develop partnerships with AI platforms, creative tools, agencies, and enterprise brands. Drive API licensing, enterprise contracts, and revenue-generating opportunities. Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership teams to maximize partner success. Represent Sonilo at industry events and expand our presence across the AI and creator ecosystem. Ideal Candidate Required 3+ years of experience in: Business Development Strategic Partnerships Platform Partnerships Experience working with SaaS, AI, creator economy, media technology, or developer platforms. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proven ability to source, structure, and close partnerships. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Existing network within: AI ecosystem Creator economy Marketing technology ecosystem Experience selling APIs, enterprise software, or platform solutions.
