This full-time position allows flexibility as clinicians work primarily in a remote capacity, connecting with clients in their homes or through our outpatient center. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized in-home therapy sessions or facilitate group therapy sessions within our outpatient center to cater to the unique needs of each child and their family.

• Implement evidence-based interventions that focus on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development while addressing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.

• Support youth and caregivers in enhancing their decision-making skills to effectively manage and mitigate challenging behaviors within the home environment.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for each child and their family.
\n
• Document all required materials, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, within designated timeframes to maintain compliance and uphold high standards of care.

• Participate in monthly meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute recommendations for continuous program improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve range in age from 3 to 20 years, including those with specific challenges associated with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, you will be equipped to work with a diverse set of backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive interventions that respect and respond to the unique experiences of each child and their family unit.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license valid in Texas.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5 to 10 hours per week during after-school hours, primarily from 4 to 7 PM, with additional weekend availability being a positive asset.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support strategies.
\n
• Prior work experience with children, particularly those aged 3-20 years, who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for transportation to client homes.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting, ensuring the safety of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
