This full-time role offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to engage with clients through both telehealth and in-person sessions at our outpatient facility in Abilene, Texas. Work Environment\n

This position operates in a hybrid setup, permitting work from home while also allowing opportunities for face-to-face interactions with clients in our Abilene outpatient office. You will be supported by a collaborative team, fostering an atmosphere conducive to professional growth, and mission-driven work. The office operates with extended hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing a flexible work schedule for our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' histories, and tailoring appropriate treatment strategies.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
\n
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention services and support, particularly during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available community resources for support.
\n
• Maintaining precise and confidential case documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engaging in regular team meetings, case consultations, and participating in ongoing professional development workshops.
\n
• Staying current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals exposed to trauma and those exhibiting trauma-related disorders. Your expertise will help them navigate their mental health challenges, and the use of trauma-informed methods will play a crucial role in fostering a therapeutic environment of safety and support.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• Proven knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
