Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and their specific needs for effective intervention.

• Creating personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring that each client's plan is tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Delivering both individual and specialized group therapy sessions designed to assist clients in processing trauma and developing essential coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care for all clients.

• Intervening during crises with appropriate support strategies to ensure client safety and recovery.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in case consultations, contributing to team meetings, and pursuing ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying informed of the latest research and methodologies in trauma treatment to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinical focus predominantly involves working with individuals experiencing various trauma-related disorders. This includes youth and families who may be dealing with emotional distress, behavioral issues, and implementing proactive strategies to foster resilience. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and demonstrate self-guided determination to complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:
