This full-time role offers the opportunity to work from a remote setting while also engaging with clients in our outpatient office located in Fremont, California. Work Environment\n

The work environment is designed to be both flexible and supportive. While the majority of your work will be remote, you will also have the opportunity to engage with patients in our outpatient facility. Our schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that prioritizes communication and shared learning.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Premise Therapy Center, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health histories, identifying their individual trauma experiences.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that integrate resilience-building techniques and trauma recovery goals.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address patients' needs.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions where clients can explore their trauma and develop coping mechanisms in a supportive setting.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Providing immediate crisis intervention when necessary, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

• Engaging in biopsychosocial case consultations and contributing to team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed practices.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure best practices in therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes patients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma scenarios, and those diagnosed with dissociative disorders. You will be the vital link in their journey toward healing, offering empathy and understanding in each session, empowering them to make meaningful progress in their recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be suitable for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills encapsulated in a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• A strong foundation of knowledge surrounding trauma-related disorders and their treatment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

While a minimum of two years of experience in a related role is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits\n
