Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and document client cases meticulously from initial consultation through to the completion of treatment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ethical standards.

• Evaluate clients' psychological, behavioral, and emotional health through structured interviews and standardized assessments.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, integrating therapeutic modalities and interventions.

• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions that encourage self-exploration and promote healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to develop cohesive intervention strategies.

• Conduct follow-ups with external healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers, helping them navigate mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrable experience in the field of mental health counseling, showcasing a solid foundation of therapeutic skills.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms, to manage cases and document progress comprehensively.

• Thorough understanding of various mental health conditions, including co-occurring disorders, and their implications for treatment.
\n
• Commitment to continuous education and familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to show empathy and understanding in challenging situations while maintaining professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with specific client populations, including children, adolescents, and LGBTQ+ individuals.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of their applicability in therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
