Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work hours while maintaining a focus on student needs. As a member of our dedicated team, you will work closely with educators, school administrators, and mental health professionals to ensure students have access to the resources they need. Utilizing telehealth platforms and other digital tools, you will deliver effective counseling from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments tailored to each student’s situation.

• Collaborate with students, parents, and educators to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each child.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in a variety of settings, including one-on-one sessions, group therapy, and family interventions.

• Offer crisis intervention services to students experiencing acute distress and work collaboratively with the educational team and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to all relevant guidelines and legal requirements.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with skills and knowledge to manage mental health conditions effectively.
\n
• Engage in regular outcome assessments to measure treatment efficacy, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Stay informed of current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the mental health field, integrating this knowledge into your clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.

• Uphold ethical standards and maintain the confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families. This role focuses on addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional difficulties. You will play a key role in supporting students’ overall developmental and emotional health, while collaborating with their families and school personnel.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with diverse populations.
\n
• Experience in school settings or working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience providing therapeutic services in educational settings, knowledge of school-based mental health frameworks, and a familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing school mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 depending on experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to salary, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
