Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health needs, facilitating the development of effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methods tailored to foster personal growth and emotional well-being.
• Set achievable therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and monitor progress consistently to encourage accountability and development.
• Provide teletherapy services for clients requiring virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility for those with transportation challenges or time constraints.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to uphold ethical standards and guide therapeutic interventions, using practice management software that aligns with our organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training opportunities, staying current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, children, and families. Our practice serves various populations, with an emphasis on providing culturally competent care, particularly for clients of color and those identifying as part of the LGBTQIA community. Your sensitivity to the unique needs of each individual will play a significant role in fostering trust and promoting healing in their therapy journey.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical or therapy setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with couples, children, teens, and families in need of therapeutic support.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
