Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, emotional well-being, and relational dynamics.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are aligned with each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences, employing a range of therapeutic modalities.

• Provide culturally sensitive individual and couples therapy, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and familial conflicts.

• Engage in regular reviews of treatment plans to track clients’ progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary.

• Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create a holistic approach to treatment, integrating various healthcare professionals’ insights when necessary.

• Facilitate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Stay updated on the latest developments and evidence-based practices within the field of marriage and family therapy through continuous professional development.

• Advocate for clients by empowering them to take an active role in their treatment decisions, while providing necessary resources and referrals to additional services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population that includes teens, adults, and families facing various challenges. You will engage with clients with multiple mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster a supportive therapeutic environment. By addressing the unique cultural and social dynamics of our community in Wapato, you will ensure that each client feels heard and valued in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State is a must.
\n
• Strong practical experience in providing individual and couples therapy.
\n
• Familiarity with managing a diverse client base, including both children and adults.
\n
• Excellent time management skills in completing assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans within set timelines.
\n
• Adept at using electronic health record systems for effective documentation and client tracking.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth service delivery or remote counseling environments is highly desirable.

• Proven track record of collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
