Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify issues and develop individualized treatment plans that cater specifically to their mental health needs.

• Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive care and coordinate treatment plans, ensuring cohesive support for your clients.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and the organization’s policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through clinical supervision and training workshops, staying current with emerging research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively use the DSM-5 for diagnosing and creating effective treatment plans.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective therapeutic relationships with clients and collaboration with team members.

• Self-motivated and capable of managing your caseload independently while also functioning as a reliable team member.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
