In this remote telehealth setting, you will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, allowing for flexible scheduling and improved patient accessibility. The position involves regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, tailored to improve the mental health outcomes of young patients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, engaging parents and caregivers in the treatment process to foster a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists and educational professionals, to ensure seamless care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, addressing a variety of mental health concerns. This role is centered on creating a safe, nurturing environment for clients aged 5 to 18 years, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions. Engaging with families is paramount, as their involvement greatly influences the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in delivering mental health services, with a specific focus on children and adolescents preferred.

• Strong understanding of various child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach tailored to young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
