Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Heal & Revive Chiro Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring function based on each patient's unique needs.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities using diagnostic assessments to determine the best course of action for recovery.
• Collaboration with physical therapy assistants to ensure that prescribed therapy plans are followed effectively and to provide guidance as needed.
• Assessing home environments to develop intervention strategies that promote client independence and safety.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other treatments to maximize patient mobility and strength.
• Maintaining clinical records including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring all documentation adheres to regulatory standards.
• Engaging in ongoing communication with clients and their families to provide education and support while fostering positive relationships.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment plans to enhance overall outcomes.
• Acting as an advocate for our patients by representing the organization positively within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide services primarily to residents of Virginia Beach and surrounding areas. Our diverse client population includes individuals recovering from surgery, aging adults seeking to maintain mobility, and patients with chronic pain or neurological conditions. Your approach will be central to enhancing their rehabilitation journey, facilitating a patient-centered experience that focuses on achieving their unique health goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications must be met:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in physical therapy, ideally in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current physical therapy licensure in good standing in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to collaboration, clinical excellence, and patient advocacy.
• A positive attitude and the ability to motivate clients toward achieving rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are essential, experience with various rehabilitation modalities and familiarity with both federal and state regulations in healthcare will enhance your candidacy. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and documentation software is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

Heal & Revive Chiro Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
