Body Holistics Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to become an integral part of our rehabilitation team. Body Holistics Rehab Center is a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility located in the heart of Virginia Beach, Virginia. We specialize in outpatient therapy services, offering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation solutions. Work Environment

As an onsite facility, our environment fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness trainers. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with two available shift options: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, thereby allowing ample opportunity for teamwork and focus on quality patient care. The center is equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment and resources to facilitate an engaging therapeutic experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique goals and medical histories.
• Deliver high-quality care utilizing a variety of evidence-based interventions to enhance mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Maintain caseload management, ensuring adequate time is allocated for each patient to monitor progress, adjust treatment, and provide motivation.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document treatment provided and maintain comprehensive patient records accurately.
• Educate patients on non-surgical treatment options and lead discussions surrounding lifestyle modifications to promote overall health.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, often participating in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress against set goals, adjusting individual plans as necessary to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Promote wellness and physical fitness by designing tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs for diverse populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with individuals seeking outpatient therapy services. Our patients range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals managing chronic pain or post-operative rehabilitation. The ideal candidate excels at building rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy while encouraging motivation through their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia; an impeccable record with no history of sanctions.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques complemented by an exceptional ability to create successful exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for detailed and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with evidence-based physical therapy practices through ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting preferred, particularly with sports-related injuries or orthopedic patients.
• Expertise in utilizing therapeutic modalities and innovative rehabilitation techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
