We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our full-time team at the Spine and Joint Rehab Center, located in beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and accurately identify patients' goals, creating tailored care plans to address individual needs.
• Manage a patient caseload, providing personalized therapy sessions at a rate of one patient every hour.
• Draw from your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to implement best practices in treatment.
• Provide cost-effective, hands-on treatments designed to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility, facilitating a return to their daily activities.
• Monitor patient progress through diligent documentation and communication, utilizing EMR software like WebPT.
• Develop comprehensive exercise and wellness programs that cater specifically to the individual capabilities and goals of each patient.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle adjustments by focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a sense of confidence and optimism.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of treatment outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary for improved results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary responsibility will be to cater to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgical procedures. Our patient population typically consists of adults seeking to enhance their mobility and functionality. You will be instrumental in helping a diverse range of patients, from athletes looking to regain performance levels to older adults aiming to maintain independence and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to implement effective exercise protocols.
• Proficient in digital documentation utilizing EMR software, ideally with experience in WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and a commitment to continuous education.
• Experience in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to specific patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
