Our facility, which spans 5000 square feet, is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology designed to support recovery and enhance physical performance. With a small team comprising two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, we pride ourselves on a collaborative and supportive work culture that focuses on delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position where you will work directly with patients in their homes, allowing you to engage closely with them in their natural environments. Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, which allows us to focus on personalized care without the constraints often found in larger institutions. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a healthy work-life balance while meeting the demands of our growing patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient objectives, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused attention and quality care during each session.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and exercise programs to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously using EMR software like WebPT, ensuring all interactions and treatments are recorded accurately.
• Educate patients about their conditions, providing strategies to minimize reliance on medication and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into your treatment plans to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and multidisciplinary care approaches tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health by developing fitness and wellness plans that extend beyond rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required; candidates with a Bachelor's Degree will not be considered.
• Must hold an active Virginia state license as a Physical Therapist without any record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the design of individualized exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A proven background in orthopedic outpatient settings, especially with complex cases.
• Experience implementing evidence-based treatment modalities and best practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
