Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, spanning over 5,000 square feet, designed to provide an optimal environment for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), who share a common goal: to deliver top-notch, patient-centered care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, allowing for direct patient interaction and hands-on therapy sessions. With a focus on collaboration, our facility is designed to foster teamwork among the healthcare professionals. We operate Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a consistent work-life balance while serving our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical condition to assess their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving range of motion and mobility, while reducing reliance on medications.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and approaches, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to support patient recovery.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation processes, ensuring they remain engaged and informed about their treatment options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
• Regularly monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving patient goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographics consist of individuals with orthopedic injuries and conditions, mainly those with private medical insurance. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care, focusing on creating individual treatment plans that address a variety of musculoskeletal issues while promoting overall wellness and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A clean professional record without any history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol creation is essential for this position.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software to maintain patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a strong focus on physical rehabilitation.
• Experience in developing and implementing innovative fitness and wellness programs for diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation between USD 90,000 and 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
