Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist for Home Care

Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated, full-time Physical Therapist (PT) who is passionate about restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for patients through personalized treatment plans. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients towards their rehabilitation goals by implementing innovative therapies and fostering an encouraging environment.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our organization, you will have the unique opportunity to work in an onsite home care setting, ensuring that therapy is delivered where patients feel most comfortable. Our team currently consists of two physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all dedicated to working collaboratively to provide high-quality services. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique health objectives and requirements of each patient, tailoring treatment strategies accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, delivering personalized attention and care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive therapeutic regimes, focusing on improving patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functional outcomes.
• Design and implement customized exercise programs that address each patient's specific needs, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and interventions as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Cultivate a motivating environment for patients, encouraging their active participation and engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to coordinate treatments and share insights that contribute to comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services accurately to maintain continuity and standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, requiring tailored rehabilitation methods that promote non-surgical interventions. We cater to diverse individuals who are motivated to restore their mobility, enhance their physical capabilities, and lead healthier lives. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong foundational knowledge in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices.
• Proven proficiency in designing and executing effective exercise programs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A solid track record of administering cost-effective therapies that prioritize patient wellbeing and minimize reliance on medications.
• Experience in developing fitness and wellness initiatives tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Flexibility First Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial and health needs. This includes:
