Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, setting measurable goals and developing personalized treatment programs in accordance with physician recommendations.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on individual responsiveness to therapy, ensuring interventions remain effective and are tailored to evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records documenting evaluations, treatment outcomes, plans of care, and discharge information, demonstrating the necessity of therapeutic interventions using appropriate medical terminology.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, providing guidance in their delivery of patient care to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to coordinate and assess comprehensive intervention programs.
• Engage in ongoing education about best practices in therapy techniques and patient management, contributing to department best practices and productivity standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus
