This role operates in a flexible remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver patient care from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration, ensuring a holistic understanding of their mental health status.

• Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, setting achievable goals and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their needs.

• Administer evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to suit individual client profiles.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, offering resources around mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed advancements or challenges.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care, integrating therapeutic and medical interventions.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders and treatment methodologies to continually enhance service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies with colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support.

• Advocate for clients' needs, working to normalize discussions about mental health and reduce stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your expertise will contribute significantly to improving their quality of life by empowering them with coping strategies and therapeutic support.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.

• A current and valid licensure in the state of California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is essential for this position.

• Prior experience in utilizing evidence-based treatment methods, specifically CBT and DBT, is highly desirable.

• Strong working knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
