Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate each patient’s trauma history and needs, facilitating the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, utilizing specific therapeutic modalities suited to the client’s unique circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Effectively manage crisis situations by delivering immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, counselors, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care plans and integrated support for clients.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation and participate in case consultations and team meetings to reinforce best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available to facilitate their recovery.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy through ongoing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on individuals and groups affected by trauma, which may include survivors of abuse, combat veterans, and individuals dealing with loss or significant life changes. You will play a crucial role in helping these clients process their experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and establish a pathway toward healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge base regarding trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methods, and resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Technologically proficient, particularly with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
